Programme Introduction

This programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills in Biotechnology. The global demand and need for Biotechnology have increased tremendously. Thus, this programme is offered addressing the government’s policy to increase the number of skilled workers and improve the technology of the country which concedes with Malaysia’s Vision 2020 by combining the knowledge, technology, skills, community and humanity.

The curriculum has been designed to prepare students that will pursue their career in R&D and other wide range of science disciplines. Students are also equipped with knowledge to further their studies in Bachelor’s Degree in relevant areas as well.

  • Malaysian Studies
  • Communicative English

    • Pass in SPM with at least Credit in any 3 subjects or any equivalent qualification

OR

  • A pass in SKM Level 3 in a related field.

 

As for the SPM-SVM qualification, candidates must have:

i.                 CGPA (Academic) of at least 3.33,

ii.                CGPA (Vocational) 3.67

iii.               Credit in Bahasa Melayu (1104),

and

iv.               Competent in all Vocational Modules
